Building Courage

Forget Sympathy for the Victim

November 23, 2013

1:04 pm

When we see people get bullied/cyberbullied, we may feel sorry for them. You sympathize. Big deal! What good does that do? Nada! Sweet tweet! So you feel sorry for them.

Forget the word Sympathy. It’s a useless word. Replace it with the word Empathy.

Step into their shoes. Walk in their footsteps, and feel what they’re feeling.

Now that you know how bad they hurt…you feel their pain, and helplessness, be the change.

Head to www.iamstronger.ca NOW and take the pledge. Get involved. Change the world…your world…my world, and yes…their world.
